Semi-ABEND
Ok...I have to turn in my modem and landline in order to get the bossman to sign off my checklist so I can get out of the building. It will be a couple days until I can move into the hotel where I'll have reliable service again.

Beats a u-bend. Plus, I think this is one of those true "the end justify the means" situations in which the end is so awesome, the means is a mere trifle.

I'm not sure a "U-bend" is better. ABEND is short for Away Because of Enforced Net Deprivation. One of the hardest hits I take - especially here, where I'm isolated from most of the people I know.
However, the end is pretty freakin' hawesome.
