5? No way!
Today, Ryan turned 5. That's way more than it was supposed to be; I'd swear it. Cool when your birthday falls on Friday. He got a new soccer ball (which he did look at for a minute), a Spiderman watch (that he got to pick out himself), and a Cars game for his V-Smile game system (which has consumed him since he got it). It was a pretty exciting day, and he's even staying up late.
Wow, we forgot to get out the ice-cream cake. Oh well, tomorrow's another day.

Happy Birthday Ryan! Careful Beav, tomorrow he will turn 16 and want to drive.

Which will then be followed by a conversation that starts like this:
"Uh, Dad? You got a minute? /pause/ Um, hey Dad, um, you know my girlfriend? /pause/ Um,..."
Well, at least that's how it goes in my family.
Belated happies to Ryan!

That's why I love your stories, Soo. I totally expect "Dad's" response to be
"Well we all did sleep together. Duh."
